Campbell Hall's Noah Ballard clocked 17:29.78 to win the boys Division 3 race at the 48th Annual Staub/Barnes Invitational at CV Park in La Crescenta.  Temple City's Alex Ortega led the majority of the race but didn't make a turn in the final 200 meters allowing Ballard to take the lead.  Ortega finished third at 17:44.22.  Afterward, Ballard asked Ortega to join him for the interview.
